Supplied new by Lex Mead of Manchester to a A.E. Jackson on 2nd June 1978. The original order shows that it was delivered in Caribbean blue(2242) with dark blue(VM3209) hide and dark blue(98) carpets. It was order with the following special options, Sundym glass, internally adjustable mirrors to both front doors, headrests to front seats, Lucas quartz iodine lamps, Fiamm horns in addition to standard, Dunlop radial tyres, fire extinguisher and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt stereo which it still retains today.
Avantgarde purchased this car recently direct from the family who had owned it since 1996. Since our acquisition we have had the car serviced at highly regarded Rolls Royce & Bentley specialist D.E.W. Services at a cost of just over £3,600. Offered with all original handbooks including original stamped service book, owners handbook, radio user manual and both large & small tool sets. The history file includes invoices and letters dating back to when the vehicle was new and old MOT certificates dating back to very the first in 1981.
