Finished in blizzard blue with dark tan Poltrona Frau leather interior.

The Lancia Thema 8.32 was unveiled at the 1986 Turin Auto Show and was so called because it was fitted with a Ferrari 8 cylinder 32 valve engine based on the Ferrari 308 unit. The biggest surprise with the Thema 8.32 though was the price. At around £40,000 (approx £100k in todays money), not only was it more expensive than more luxurious offerings from rivals such as Jaguar, Mercedes and BMW, it was over twice as much as Lancia’s own Thema Turbo. Not surprisingly this is a very rare sight on UK roads given the original cost new, and that it was only available in left hand drive.

This particular example comes with a comprehensive service history and has benefitted from a huge amount of recent expenditure. Most notably the car had a full engine rebuild, at a cost of £16,000 by Ferrari main agent Carrs of Exeter in 2021. The car has also recently been fitted with new Bilstein dampers all round.

A very rare opportunity to acquire what is a very rare car indeed, in the most attractive colour combination and appears to have been maintained without regard of cost.
